The plane that we chose to model for this project is called the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II. It is a single-seat, twin turbofan engine, straight wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic for the United States Air Force. Commonly referred to by its nicknames Warthog or Hog, this World War II fighter was effective at attacking ground targets.
